- Seems to me you don't have the same amount of segments/faces in each object,
- or they do not align properly.
- (for instance a cylinder with 24 sides should be attached to a sphere with
- 24 sides.)

- Something else could be that you did not merge points to make it one object.

- And check in modeler with the faces stats if you have any 1 or 2 point
- poly's left. If so, delete them.
